Coventry Welsh Rugby Club have always promoted the traditional values of club rugby here in the United Kingdom, from the initial ex-patriates moved to a strage location through work commitments, to todays first team squad to which the club offers om much more than a game of rugby football. The club has always promoted the 'Family' atmosphere and you are always assured of a warm welcome to our Burbages Lane ground. Thererore with the RFU promoting the core values of rugby is belt and braces to many of our players, supporters, parents, wives and girlfriends.

Playing for the Welsh you become part of the family, your friends and fellow team members welcome you immediately to the very friendly and hospitable club. Playing rugby for its traditional values, playing hard, but fair and following the game with a few social beers with your opposition, or if they shot off quickly as is the trend nowadays, their fellow team members.

According to Sport England, rugby union is the fastest growing major sport in the country, attracting more people than ever to enjoy the institution which is Rugby.

   Enjoyment is the reason we play and support rugby union at Coventry Welsh RFC. We encourage players to enjoy training and playing. We use our sport to adopt a healthy lifestyle and build life skills. We safeguard our young players and help them have fun. We enjoy being part of a team and part of the rugby family.
